What can you tell us about your luxury spa?
Montana Lodge & Spa is set in the heart of Europe’s highest mountains. Outside, explore 160 km of skiing in Italy and France. Go trekking, rafting and fishing. Inside, return to laid-back luxury.
Montana Spa at the Montana Lodge, is a unique wellness center within the destination La Thuile and located inside the only 5 star property in the area.
While viewing the stunning peak of Mount Ruitor, you have the opportunity to swim in the indoor heated pool (a 13 meter long Jacuzzi) at the temperature of 32 degrees, which opens through its big glass walls into the surrounding nature, woods and mountains. Around the pool are several lounges to lay and relax, sipping a perfumed water or a herbal tea while crunching dried fruits, nuts as well as enjoying fresh fruit.
Moreover, the wet Spa area is divided into two floors. You can access two relax areas with soft lounges, a Finnish sauna, a Vitarium (bio sauna at 60°) and a steam bath.
Re-tempering your body and mind is the main objective within Montana Spa. Through holistic custom made treatments, the therapists give you a sense of rebirth and encourage your body to naturally reconstruct its own healthy balance.
What makes you unique?
Through the large glass windows the beauty of an unspoiled surrounding nature breaks into the Spa while from the pool you can appreciate the beauty of eternal snow on the Ruitor glacier.
Non resident Guests can also come for a day at the Spa combining the use of the pool and wet area with a single treatment. In summer you can lay outside in the garden sunbathing and making use of the indoor activities.
What do you recommend as the ultimate treatment?
“Comfort zone” has created a number of special treatments especially for Montana Spa and amongst those we would recommend the Tranquillity Pro-sleep Massage, an innovative massage acting on multi-sensoriality for a relaxing sensation and useful for sleep. Also, the unavoidable Body Active Massage, an intensive, remineralizing, remodelling and firming treatment.
What other amenities can your guests enjoy?
The Spa provides a fully equipped fitness room with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains while spending time on the treadmill or cycling.
In addition, the Spa has a private suite to enjoy peaceful moments of well-being in total privacy. Ideal for couples or a small group of friends, you can enjoy a Rasul bath, a Jacuzzi, a relaxation area and a couple treatment room, where you can enjoy a body treatment in the company of your partner or a friend. Fresh fruit and Champagne can be enjoyed during your time in the private suite.
Also on site, the Chaveur Restaurant & Bistro Alpino offers the best of Italian cuisine, using the finest, freshest local ingredients. Brimming with fresh ideas, our talented chefs focus on simplicity and purity, sourcing high-quality produce to create menus based on seasonality and regional specialties. The hotel’s wine cellar is stocked with carefully chosen vintages and signature cocktails, combining the crisp and natural ambience of the surrounding mountain area with the modernity of the hotel and are served all day in the Bar & Lounge.

Guests of Montana Lodge & Spa can maximize their experience by choosing a specific detox program with a number of specific treatments to regain their body balance. The detox menus are elaborated by our resident Chef with the supervision of the multi Michelin stars chef Enrico Bartolini.
There’s also many activities to take part in anytime of year such as winter walks or guided snowshoe excursions and in the summer, mountain biking, horseback riding, canoeing and golfing.
