This philosophy is cascaded to all therapists who undergo training at the Banyan Tree Spa Academy. Each therapist goes through over 650 hours of theory and practical training encompassing all areas of spa therapy, including the human anatomy, important pressure points, modern and traditional massage techniques, facial applications, properties of various herbs and spices and service standards. In order to maintain the service standards and consistency, all therapists have to go through an annual assessment after completion of their training.

Banyan Tree Spa Lang Co is located along the coast of tranquil Central Vietnam, overlooking the East Sea and framed by a three-kilometre beach where tropical jungles meet pristine coastlines. Inspired by the artistic heritage of past Vietnamese dynasties, the spa boasts six magnificent spa pavilions in an expansive area of 2,553 square metres. The architecture and design pays contemporary tribute to the rich culture of the region. Each spa pavilion features modern interpretations of design elements seen in the traditional garden houses of Hue with interiors that are replete with traditional Vietnamese aesthetic themes.
