FieldSpa
GoldenEye Resort
Oracabessa, Jamaica
What do we need to know about your luxury spa?
The FieldSpa at GoldenEye is built into the natural jungle-like landscape on the edge of the crystal-clear blue lagoon allowing guests to walk, swim, or kayak to the spa. Surrounded by trees, plants, water, and wood, guests can instantly relax due to its natural vibe.
What makes you unique?
The spa draws on traditional Jamaican recipes and the healing powers of flowers, roots, leaves and herbs grown at music mogul and owner Chris Blackwell’s farm, Pantrepant, in Trelawny Parish, Jamaica. In addition, GoldenEye has a trio of essential body oils that are produced in Oracabessa, Jamaica with local ingredients such as lemongrass, an old Jamaican herbal remedy. The spa also features destination-themed treatments including a Blue Mountain coffee scrub, which also includes raw cane sugar and cold pressed coconut oil, followed by a full body shea butter hydration.
What do you recommend as the ultimate treatment?
The detoxifying Purifying Lemongrass and Wild Lime Abyhanga massage combines warm lemongrass and wild lime coconut oil sourced from Chris Blackwell’s Pantrepant, an 800-acre farm in the heart of Jamaica. The 60 or 90-minute treatment helps remove impurities and assists with lymphatic drainage.
Any insider tips
To maximize their experience, guests can opt for an additional hydrating Herbal Scalp massage or Body Brushing, which stimulates lymph and circulation with dry brushing. Guests can stay zen after leaving the spa and with a hike up FireFly for a sunset yoga class.
