The Spa at Woodstock Inn
Woodstock Inn & Resort
Woodstock, Vermont, US
We all love a world class spa. What do we need to know about yours?
The resort’s 10,000 square-foot LEED-designed spa offers a nature-inspired ambiance, nourishing treatments, organic products and a great room with a relaxation space, Shaker wood stoves, a hot tub, and a Scandinavian sauna. The facility’s natural light, vaulted ceilings, and intimate therapy rooms create a peaceful environment that helps achieve total mind and body relaxation, while personalized spa treatments melt away any last traces of tension.
What makes you unique?
The Spa is well-staffed with gracious attendants who deliver an exceptional experience and are happy to help guests. The Spa design incorporates locally sourced furniture and décor elements. Throughout are benches and tables from local furniture maker Charles Shackleton, hand-blown lights from the world-renowned Vermont-based glassmaker Simon Pearce and Farmhouse Pottery pieces.
What do you recommend as the ultimate treatment?
The spa provides a full-range of services and treatments for women and men. Some highlights include the 100-minute personalized Signature Spa Experience that begins with a seasonal body scrub, wrap and full-body massage, while the popular Body Back Melt Therapy uses hot packs and arnica to release stress and restore relaxation. The spa’s spacious couples massage suite features a distinctive, custom-made hinoki wooden Japanese soaking tub, private multi-head shower and wood-burning fireplace.
Any insider tips
After treatments the therapist will greet guests with water and the spa’s signature lavender macaron, which can be purchased to take home as well. Spa guests with services totaling $65 or greater receive complimentary access to spa amenities during hours of operation on day of services. Spa amenities include eucalyptus steam room, a private courtyard with year-round outdoor whirlpool and dry-cedar sauna. A guest of the resort who is not having treatments at the spa may enjoy the spa amenities for a $25 day fee per person.
One of my favorites from last year’s travel. Their couples room is amazing!
